The most prolific scorer in the history of the Manhattanville women’s lacrosse program and its only All-American, Katie Frattarola set the standard of excellence in four years with the Valiants from 1999-02.
Frattarola shined from her first moment on the field for Manhattanville, leading Division III in points per game (7.22) by nearly 1.5 ppg as a freshman while also leading D-III in goals per game (5.22) and ranking eighth in assists per game (2.00). She led the country in points per game again as a sophomore with a school-record 7.45 ppg to earn 360Lacrosse.com All-America honorable mention and Manhattanville Female Athlete of the Year honors, then earned second-team All-America laurels from 360Lacrosse.com as a junior after scoring a career-high 63 goals in 12 games.
In four years, Frattarola scored an amazing 213 goals with 96 assists for 309 points in just 48 games, and still remains seventh in D-III history in points per game (6.44) and 15th in goals per game (4.44). She is Manhattanville’s all-time leader in most offensive career categories, thanks in part to the top-three single-season point and goal averages and three of the top-four single-season assist averages ever at the school.
