The home of the Valiant swimming and diving programs until 2003, the Manhattanville Pool currently sees use year-round by outside groups and programs, local high school teams, and current Manhattanville students alike.
The Manhattanville Pool housed one of the best women's swimming programs in the country in the late 1970s and early 1980s, boasting over 100 AIAW and NCWSCA All-America selections between 1977 and 1981, as well as the two-time national champion in the 50-yard breaststroke (Judy Felice, 1980 and 1981) and the 1980 national champion in the one-meter dive (Alyce Sinnott).
Open swim hours are available for current Manhattanville students and staff throughout the school year (no summer hours are available), only at the hours listed below. No swimming is permitted when a lifeguard is not present. For questions about the open swim hours, please contact the Athletic Department.
OPEN SWIM HOURS
Open Swim times available to all Manhattanville students for the FALL 2017 semester will begin on September 5, 2017. The hours will be:
Tuesday: 12:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m.
Thursday: 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
Friday: 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
Sunday: TBA
