Box Score EDWARDSVILLE, Pa. – The Manhattanville men's soccer team was held scoreless on Saturday night, suffering a 1-0 loss at the hands of King's (Pa.) College. The loss drops Manhattanville to 3-9-2 on the season and 0-3-1 in Freedom Conference play.
The match was closely contested throughout, the only goal coming off the foot of King's sophomore forward Daniel Hernandez in the 84th minute. Hernandez's shot was almost saved by sophomore goalkeeper
Steve Singson (Deer Park, N.Y./St. Anthony's), but unfortunately deflected off him and skimmed the inside of the post for a goal.
The Valiants were unable to sustain much pressure offensively as they tallied only one shot on goal during the match, coming from the foot of freshman midfielder
