MADISON, N.J. – The Manhattanville College field hockey team fell 8-1 to the Fairleigh Dickinson University-Florham Devils on Wednesday Oct. 24 in the program's 2018 season and Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom finale.

Senior Emily Antinozzi (Rye, N.Y./Rye) scored for Manhattanville (5-12, 1-6 MACF) while Chrissy Penney and Kelly O'Neill each recorded hat tricks for FDU-Florham (15-3, 7-0 MACF). Penney scored the first two goals of the night for the Devils, who added tallies from Jessica Pietracatella and O'Neill before Antinozzi got the Valiants on the board at 25:45 of the first half. O'Neill sandwiched her second and third goals around Penney's third score before Brianna Suralik added the final goal of the night.

On offense, Manhattanville ended the night with six shots on goal and four penalty corners. On defense, Zoe Fillebrown (Nashua, N.H./Nashua North) finished with nine saves, giving her 65 for the season, the most by a Manhattanville freshman goalkeeper since 2010, and a .747 save percentage. Sophomore Elaina Nacinovich (Carmel, N.Y./Carmel) finished with 67 saves and a .650 save percentage.

Antinozzi led the team in goals and points for the second straight season with nine and 22, respectively and concluded her two-year Manhattanville career with 21 goals and 47 points. Juniors Robin Boot (Bedum, Netherlands/H.N. Werkman College) and Ameerah Thomas (Norfolk, Va./Granby) finished the year with six goals and five goals, respectively, as each increased their year-end point totals (17 for Boot, 14 for Thomas) for the second straight season. Sophomores Lexi Crites (Middleboro, Mass./Kents Hill School) and Arnise King (Wilmington, Del./Concord) rounded out the top five goal and point scorers for the Valiants, as Crites finished the year with five goals and 11 points, while King finished with four goals and nine points.
