Hartenstein led the Valiants in the first game of the day, homering at the plate and tossing six innings of three-hit ball in the circle in Manhattanville's 7-1 win.
The junior was one of three Valiants to homer in the win, joined by Boyd and graduate student

The team added three more in the third frame on a Hartenstein solo homer and a two-run single from junior
Sophia Chapelone (Carlsbad, Calif./La Costa Canyon). The Valiants then tacked on two more runs in the fifth inning on solo homers from Diemicke and Boyd to complete the scoring.

The Valiants again started strong in game two, scoring five times in the first inning. After two runs scored on a bases-loaded error, Jedrey followed with a three-run homer.
The Valiants secured the win with three solo homers over the final two frames, as Hartenstein and Boyd went deep for the second game in a row and junior
Evonne Torres (Hacienda Heights, Calif./Pioneer) became the fifth Valiant with multiple homers on the year with a seventh-inning solo shot.
Senior
