ANNVILLE, PA. — For the third time this season, Manhattanville College women's hockey forward Nicole Mensi (Mamaroneck, N.Y./Northwood School) was named Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Player of the Week, as announced by the conference Monday morning.

Mensi started off her week with two shots in a 1-1 tie with Endicott College at the WSYB/Catamount Radio Invitational Saturday, Jan. 5. In the second round of the tournament, Mensi scored both goals for Manhattanville in a 2-1 victory over Castleton University and was named to the All-tournament team for her efforts.

The senior finished the week with two goals, five shots and was a plus-one in two games played.

Mensi and the Valiants return to action Jan. 8, when they are on the road to take on United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC) opponent Utica College, with puck drop scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
