PURCHASE, N.Y. – The Manhattanville College men's soccer program is set to host its annual College Prospect ID Clinic, Sunday, March 22, at GoValiants.com Field. The clinic will pose an opportunity for boys at the high school level to show off their skills and receive instruction from a collegiate coaching staff which will aid them as they look to transition into college athletics.
The clinic will be run by the Manhattanville men's soccer coaching staff, with head coach
Paul Templeton and assistant coach
Michael Alcaraz taking the lead. The clinic is designed to create a competitive environment for prospective college athletes, expose them to the college game and provide insight into what college soccer is about.
The clinic will include a training session, both small and full-sided games and closing comments from the staff at the end of the day. Participants will receive top-level instruction with feedback and assessment from the staff. Goalkeeper-specific training will be provided by the team's goalkeeper coaches.
