Nick Cornelia (Lindenhurst, N.Y./Lindenhurst) led the Valiants (1-4) with six goals and freshman attacker
Mike Walsh (Mahopac, N.Y./Lakeland) led the team with four assists.
The Rams (6-1) quickly went up three goals to start the game. Cornelia then scored three of the next five goals in the first quarter to make the score 5-3 through one. Manhattanville scored four more goals in the second quarter, but the Farmingdale offense could not be slowed as six more goals gave them an 11-7 advantage at halftime.
The scoring slowed in to start the second half. Both team combined for only four third quarter goals and the Valiants trailed 14-8 heading into the final quarter of play. Cornelia added two more goals in the fourth, but it was not enough at Farmingdale secured a 17-10 victory. Senior goalie
