After trading the opening three points of set two, the Valiants went on an 8-1 run to jump ahead 9-3, once again never looking back. Sarah Lawrence scored just twice while in control of the serve in the set as the Valiants continued to string points together. Leading 15-8, a pair of 5-0 runs piloted Manhattanville to the set victory, taking the second frame 25-10.
The Gryphons struck with the first two points of set three before Manhattanville scored four straight to claim their final lead of the night. Sarah Lawrence cut the lead down to one twice before five straight Valiant points put Manhattanville in the driver's seat. The lead never fell below five points the rest of the way, with Vital closing out the match with her third and final kill to start the final week of the regular season off with a win.
