MONTCLAIR, N.J. – We're in! For the third time in program history, the Manhattanville College men's soccer team is headed to the NCAA Division III Men's Soccer Championship. After claiming their first Skyline Conference Championship since 1999, the Valiants will head to the NCAAs taking on Christopher Newport in the opening round matchup.

How We Got Here/Last Time Out
The Valiants earned an automatic qualifier to the NCAA Tournament as a result of their Skyline Conference Championship win on Sunday afternoon, defeating Farmingdale State 2-1 to carry a 9-3-6 mark into the tournament.
In the title bout against Farmingdale State, the Valiant offense was piloted by
Keanu Stingone (Kew Gardens, N.Y./Archbishop Molloy) and
Arjan Delija (Irvington, N.Y./Irvington) who each scored a goal for Manhattanville.
Matt Rabadi (Hopewell Junction, N.Y./John Jay) would assist on each goal to lead the Valiants to victory. In net,
Luis Granados (Pasadena, Calif./St. Francis) made one save on five shots while being named the tournament's Most Outstanding Player. Along with Granados,
Trevor Henderson (Massapequa, N.Y./Massapequa),
Michael Mezzina (Pompton Lakes, N.J./Morris Catholic), and
Joseph Kresse (Goshen, NY/Goshen High School) enter the tournament with some new accolades after being named to the Skyline All-Conference Teams on Wednesday.
On the other side of the pitch meeting the Valiants will be the Christopher Newport Captains.
Christopher Newport will be making their 13
th NCAA appearance in program history and fifth while being in the Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference. The Captains earned an at-large berth after falling to No. 3 Wisconsin-Platteville in the C2C Tournament Semifinals. They ended their season 10-4-2 overall while receiving votes in the United Soccer Coaches Top 25 Poll. Mason Field and Kyle Stenzel would be named to the All-Conference First Team, while Barry Jones, Jonathon Leiding, and Drew McWhinney would be selected to the Second Team.
This will be the first meeting between the men's soccer teams of Manhattanville and Christopher Newport.
