BRONX, N.Y. – Kevin Agyemang erupted for 27 points off the bench for Mount Saint Vincent as the Manhattanville College men's basketball team fell to the Dolphins on Wednesday afternoon, 88-67. The Valiants drop to 8-5 overall and 2-3 in Skyline Conference play with the loss.
Despite three in double digits for the Valiants, Manhattanville was unable to keep up with the Dolphins in the second half as Mount Saint Vincent shot 50 percent on the day. 
Tommy Lotito (Staten Island, N.Y./St. Peter's) finished with a team-high 15 points, adding five rebounds and four steals. 
Andrew Saint-Louis (Norwalk, Conn./Notre Dame Fairfield) matched Lotito's assist total while scoring 11. 
Ryan Giordano (West Nyack, N.Y./Clarkstown South) rounded out Manhattanville's top scoring effort with 10 points while pulling down a team-high seven rebounds.
After 
Tony Hastings (Clarkstown, N.Y./Clarkstown South) opened the day with a three-pointer for Manhattanville, the Dolphins scored the next six points to take a lead they would hold for the remainder of play. The Valiants inched back within a single point twice. The second was a Saint-Louis three was that was matched by Adrian Rraci on the other side of the court to get the Dolphins back up by four. Mount Saint Vincent wold build up the advantage to 14 points on an Agyemang deep ball with 8:28 left in the half to go up 33-19. The Valiants would go on the offensive facing their largest deficit of the half, outscoring the Dolphins 23-14 over the final eight minutes to get back into the game. 
Daniel Marinaccio (Staten Island, N.Y./St. Joseph By The Sea) beat the buzzer after logging a steal to sink a three-pointer to bring the halftime score to 47-42 in favor of Mount Saint Vincent.
Despite momentum looking to have swung in the favor of the Valiants heading into the second, continued with a Giordano layup to cut the deficit down to three, the Dolphins regained control with a 10-1 run to go back up by 12 at 57-45. Manhattanville would only bring the game back within single digits once for the remainder of play as the Valiants shot just 27 percent over the closing 20 minutes. As the Dolphins shot 47 percent, their lead would peak at 24 before 
Anthony Russo (Howard Beach, N.Y./Holy Cross) hit the final basket of the day with a three-pointer to bring the final score to 88-67.
