The Valiants (4-8, 2-4) grab its third conference win over the Bears (0-10, 0-7).
FIRST HALF – MANHATTANVILLE 3, SJBK 0
Manhattanville struck first with two goals from Roxo, with both assists coming from Drita Tinaj (Yorktown Heights, N.Y./Yorktown).
Ashley Irmscher (Saint James, N.Y./Smithtown East) grabbed the third goal of the game off a ricocheted ball in front of the net.
SECOND HALF – MANHATTANVILLE 5, SJBK 0
Caela Vasilkioti (Harrison, N.Y./Harrison) clinched her second goal of the season after her penalty shot was saved, knocking in the rebound from the keeper.
The fifth goal of the game was scored when Vasilkioti sent a ball to the crossbar, assisting Ariana Harvey (Queensbury, N.Y./Glens Falls Senior) in grabbing her first tally of the year.
The final goal of the game came from Stephanie Sanchez (Rye, N.Y./The Masters School) off an indirect free kick from Jennay Amaral (Washingtonville, N.Y./Washingtonville).
The Valiants secured the duo's second combined shutout from Macey Girad starting the match, and Alexa Bennett (Sparrowbush, N.Y./Port Jervis) wrapping up in the goal.
