PURCHASE, N.Y. – The Manhattanville women's soccer team wrapped up the 2025 season with one last home victory over Old Westbury on Wednesday afternoon at GoValiants.com Field.
The Valiants finish the campaign 5-11 (5-7 SKY) while the Panthers wrap the regular season 7-8 (4-7 SKY).
FIRST HALF – MANHATTANVILLE 5, OLD WESTBURY 0
Gianna Cuffari (Stony Point, N.Y./North Rockland) led the way for the Valiants, scoring her first goal of the game off a pass from Alessia Cioffi (Pawling, N.Y./Pawling). Cuffari grabbed her second of the day from a well-executed corner taken by Stephanie Sanchez (Rye, N.Y./The Masters School) and Cioffi, setting up the goal.
With her first collegiate goal, Jayda Birch (Queens, N.Y./Excelsior Preparatory) extended the lead out to three off Cuffari's pass.
The Cuffari, Cioffi duo posted their third execution of the game. The graduate student successfully grabbed her first collegiate hat trick to put her team up by four.
Macey Girard (Branford, Conn./Branford) secured her 300th career save at the 39' mark off a shot from Taryn Hilke at the top of the box.
Birch knocked in her second of the game off a scramble around the keeper to put the Vals up by five going into halftime.
SECOND HALF – MANHATTANVILLE 6, OLD WESTBURY 0
Putting the first goal of the half up was Jennay Amaral (Washingtonville, N.Y./Washingtonville), off an upfield progression from Drita Tinaj (Yorktown Heights, N.Y./Yorktown), beginning with Caela Vasilkioti (Harrison, N.Y./Harrison).
