PURCHASE, N.Y. – Samantha Andriola (Garden City South, N.Y./Sacred Heart Academy) of the Manhattanville University women's volleyball team and Andrew Saint-Louis (Norwalk, Conn./Notre Dame Fairfield) of men's basketball have been selected as Valiants of the Week, for the week ending Nov. 9.

Andriola helped push the Valiants' win streak up to 11 matches heading into the postseason with a 3-0 mark last week. The senior tallied 46 assists, 17 aces, 15 digs, 11 kills and three blocks over the stretch. The senior shined in Wednesday's win at Sarah Lawrence with an 18 assist, seven ace, seven dig, two block statline that completed the Valiants' third-straight 11-0 Skyline Conference regular season. Andriola went on to celebrate her senior day on Saturday in the triumph over Drew with 10 kills, 19 assists, four aces and eight digs.

Saint-Louis became the 29^th player in program history to score 1,000 career points as he made an immediate impact in the Valiants' season opener on Saturday. In the win over Mitchell College, the grad student put up 24 points while playing the full 40 minutes. Saint-Louis added seven boards off the defensive glass while contributing a block and an assist to get the Valiants off to a 1-0 start.
