PURCHASE, N.Y. -   Freshman member of the Skyline Conference Champions, Manhattanville University women's volleyball team, Cassidy Fallon (Brewster, N.Y./Brewster), and leading scorer in the young season for women's basketball, Esther Ramos (Queens, N.Y./Forest Hills), have nabbed Valiant of the Week titles.

In the final two matches, Fallon recorded a total of 16 kills. She led the team in kills with 11 in her first trip to the championship. In addition to leading the team on the day, it was her second time reaching double-figures in her rookie year, the first since back on Sept. 20 against Skidmore.

Going 1-1 during the week, Ramos finished with double-digit scoring in both games. Against Meager Evers, the senior knocked down 6-of-10 attempts along with recording eight rebounds and three steals. In game two against Brooklyn College, Ramos recorded a career-high 27 points, going 12-of-18. In addition to the two threes hit, she led the team in rebounds with nine, grabbing two steals, and blocking a shot.
