PURCHASE, N.Y. – With winter sports in full swing, a pair of Manhattanville University basketball student-athletes have been named Skyline Conference Honorable Mentions, for the week ending Nov. 23.

Skyline Conference Men's Basketball Weekly Report – Nov. 24
Isiah Middleton (Miami, Fla./Westminster Christian)
The junior earns his first career recognition from the Skyline after a 32-point, 10-rebound week for the Valiants. Middleton helped guide Manhattanville to a Tuesday win against Hunter, shooting 75 percent from the floor for 20 total points. He added five boards and a pair of assists against the Hawks. On Saturday against NYU, he scored a team-high 12 with five more caroms, a pair of blocks and a takeaway.

Skyline Conference Women's Basketball Weekly Report – Nov. 24
Esther Ramos (Queens, N.Y./Forest Hills)
A week removed from being named Skyline Player of the Week, Ramos continued her stellar play to open the season with 38 more points in the Valiants' pair of contests, adding 21 rebounds, four assists, three steals and a block. In Wednesday's conference opener against Mount Saint Vincent, the senior scored 14 while coming down with six rebounds, logging two steals and dishing out an assist. For her encore on Saturday against Farmingdale, Ramos went off for a 24 point, 15 rebound double-double alongside three assists, a block and a steal.
