PURCHASE, N.Y. – The Manhattanville University Valiants of the Week for the week ending Nov 23 have been awarded to Isiah Middleton (Miami, Fla./Westminster Christian) of men's basketball and women's hockey's Danika Aubin (Guy, Alberta, Canada/Northern Alberta Xtreme (CSSHL)).

Aubin led her team to a series sweep over Chatham over the past weekend, with both games ending 2-1, thanks to a touch on every goal. Securing her first of the season in the Friday match-up and following the pace on Saturday, she dished out both game-winning goals on the weekend.

Women's hockey is set to head to the Codfish Bowl, hosted by UMass Boston, this upcoming weekend. The first puck drop of the weekend is against UMass Boston on Saturday, Nov 29, at 1 PM.

Men's basketball traveled to Hunter College on Tuesday and wrapped the week hosting New York University on Friday. Over the 1-1 week, Middleton grabbed 10 defensive rebounds, dished out two assists, and scored 32 points. Against NYU, the junior transfer recorded two steals and shut down a play, blocking one shot.

Middleton, along with the rest of the squad, heads to the Sig Makofski Invitational, hosted by Union College, this upcoming weekend. Tipoff to begin the weekend is set against Union College on Saturday, Nov 29, at 4 PM.
