Chinetti, Cimorelli & Wilder Sweep UCHC Weekly Awards for Women's Hockey

12/1/2025 1:45:00 PM

PURCHASE, N.Y. – It's a clean sweep of the United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC) weekly awards for Manhattanville University women's hockey, as the Valiants earned all three of the conference's Player of the Week nods.

Catrina Chinetti (Hyde Park, Mass./Boston Latin Academy / East Coast Wizards) was selected as the conference's Women's Hockey Player of the Week, while Olivia Cimorelli (West Deptford, N.J./The Hill School / Ironbound Elite) repeats as Goaltender of the Week and Jayden Wilder (Rochester, N.H./Lovell Academy) took home Rookie of the Week nods.

The trio of accolades come off the heels of the Valiants' appearance in the 2025 Codfish Bowl over the weekend in which Manhattanville took down host UMass Boston in a shootout in the opening round before finishing runners-up to Bowdoin in Sunday's finals.

Chinetti helped send the Valiants to the championship game by extending Saturday's shootout against the Beacons. Down 1-0 entering round three of the skills competition, Chinetti kept the Valiants alive by scoring in her go-around before Manhattanville eventually won in the eighth round. The senior then got on the stat sheet in more traditional means on Sunday, scoring her first goal of the season against Bowdoin.

Cimorelli had her second-consecutive strong weekend between the pipes, making 47 total saves over her two Codfish Bowl appearances. The sophomore logged 21 saves on Saturday against UMass Boston, including a scoreless overtime and stopping seven of the eight attempts she saw in the shootout. In Sunday's final, Cimorelli made 26 more saves against a nationally-ranked Bowdoin offense.

Wilder took to the ice as part of Manhattanville's top defensive line in both tournament games. The rookie contributed to holding the Beacons to the lone goal in Saturday's tilt, taking away open lanes while blocking a pair of shots. Wilder returned on the top defensive pairing on Sunday against Bowdoin.

Chinetti, Cimorelli, Wilder and the whole of Manhattanville women's hockey close out the first of the season this weekend with a series at William Smith, starting on Friday at 7 p.m.
