SECOND HALF – RUTGERS-NEWARK 2, MANHATTANVILLE 1
Manhattanville found its way into the cage thanks to a squabble within the defense after a shot by Nickolas Pagan (Valley Stream, N.Y./Valley Stream North) was blocked, allowing the ball to sneak past the Scarlet Raider keeper and posting the Valiants on the board (51').
While the Valiants were able to rip five additional shots towards the net, overall, the efforts came up short in the hard-fought offensive battle.
