PURCHASE, N.Y. – After record-breaking Friday nights for both of Manhattanville University's ice hockey programs, Olivia Cimorelli (West Deptford, N.J./The Hill School / Ironbound Elite) and Lucas Baksay (Fairfield, Conn./Connecticut Roughriders (EHL)) earned the Valiants of the Week titles.

Olivia Cimorelli (West Deptford, N.J./The Hill School / Ironbound Elite) put her name into the Manhattanville University women's hockey record book on Friday night, becoming the fastest goaltender in program history to reach 1,000 career saves.
With 9:15 remaining in the third period, number 31, Cimorelli, stopped her 31st save of the night, marking her 1,000th career save in just her 31st collegiate appearance. Cimorelli became just the sixth goaltender in program history to reach the mark and the fastest to reach the mark, surpassing the pace set by all-time saves leader Franny Gerardi '24.
The sophomore keeper posted 40 saves for the sixth time this season. Through the season, Cimorelli has totaled 503 saves and holds a .918 save percentage.

Lucas Baksay (Fairfield, Conn./Connecticut Roughriders (EHL)) delivered a historic performance on Friday night as Manhattanville men's hockey earned a thrilling 4–3 overtime victory over nationally ranked SUNY Geneseo. The win marked the Valiants' first regular-season triumph over a ranked opponent since Dec. 9, 2018, against Trinity College.
Baksay scored all four goals for Manhattanville, becoming the first Valiant to record a four-goal game since Ken McLean on Jan. 18, 2020, versus Neumann. The senior secured the unassisted game-winner with his fourth goal of the game in sudden-death fashion.
