The Gryphons broke through early, scoring on each of their first two shots of the night. Chloe Barker put the home team up 8:33 into the affair eight her fifth of the season, just three and a half minutes before Katey Beaver struck with her 10th of the year.

Barker added an insurance tally from Emma Mangan in the 64th minute.

Gabrielle Billetz (Clarksburg, Mass./Hoosac Valley) made the start in net, allowing the two first half goals while making a pair of saves. Elliott Allen (Las Vegas, Nev./Cimarron-Memorial) took over in the second half, making four saves over her 45 minutes on the field with one goal allowed.
