NEW YORK, N.Y. – Chris Robinson (Bedford-Stuyvesant, N.Y./Westminster School) of the Manhattanville University men's basketball team was named a Met Basketball Writers Association (MBWA) Weekly Honorable Mention for his performance in the week of Feb. 16-22, the organization announced earlier today.

Robinson is the third Valiant to receive this recognition, alongside Isiah Middleton (Miami, Fla./Westminster Christian) (Jan 11) and Andrew Saint-Louis (Norwalk, Conn./Notre Dame Fairfield) (Dec 16).

The senior led his team to two conference victories to round out the regular season. On the road against Sarah Lawrence, he posted 14 points, going 3-for-5 from three, with four steals and three boards. At home in the final regular season game against Mount Saint Vincent, he went 7-for-10 from the field and 2-for-3 from beyond the arc. The senior added four rebounds, a block, and a steal.

Robinson and the Valiants start Skyline Conference play tomorrow, Wednesday Feb 25, at Sarah Lawrence.
