PURCHASE, N.Y. – Emma Foster (Santa Barbara, Calif./San Marcos) and Anthony Mezzaucella (New Rochelle, N.Y./New Rochelle) made major impacts in the batter's box during each of their spring break tournaments, earning the Valiant of the Week titles.

EMMA FOSTER – SOFTBALL
Foster's .429 avg came with 12 hits, including seven runs, six batted in, with two doubles and a triple. The sophomore sat atop the team, tied with three stolen bases over the week.
In the stand-out extras win over Carnegie Mellon, Foster went 2-for-4 with three RBIs.
Softball comes back up north for its first conference opponent, heading to Yeshiva for a late-night weekday doubleheader on Thursday, Mar 19. First pitch is scheduled for 6 PM.

ANTHONY MEZZAUCELLA – BASEBALL
The Valiants went 5-2 over the week as Mezzaucella's .435 avg recorded 10 hits with seven runs, two doubles, and two RBIs.
The Junior was a threat on the bases, successfully stealing on 6-for-6 attempts.
In the home opener against New Jersey City University, Mezzaucella went 3-for-3 with two doubles, two RBIs, and four runs scored; He also took two bags.
