PURCHASE, N.Y. – Manhattanville athletics has awarded the Valiant of the Week titles to senior Esther Ramos (Queens, N.Y./Forest Hills) and freshman Trevor Kolar (South Huntington, N.Y./Walt Whitman).

In the Skyline Conference Semifinals, Esther Ramos (Queens, N.Y./Forest Hills) exploded on the court with a career high 32 points, shooting .667. After being named first team all-conference heading into the games, she went off, going 4-of-6 from beyond the arc and 4-of-5 from the line. In the championship match, the senior wrapped her career with seven points, four rebounds, a block, and a steal, while leaving it all on the court.

The men's volleyball freshman played a critical part in the Valiants beginning conference play 2-0. Between both victories, Kolar accounted for 33 kills, 11 digs, six blocks, and nine aces. Kolar and the Valiants are back on the court on Tuesday at Purchase College at 6 p.m.
