3/2/2026 2:50:00 PM

PURCHASE, N.Y. – Following three years at Manhattanville University, Sean Reilly has stepped down from his position as head coach of the Valiant men's soccer team and of the Manhattanville golf programs to accept the head men's soccer coaching position at Guilford College.

Reilly took the reigns of Manhattanville men's soccer ahead of the 2023 season and led the Valiants to back-to-back Skyline Conference Championship titles and NCAA Tournament appearances in 2023 and 2024. Across his three seasons on the sidelines of GoValiants.com Field, Reilly accumulated 30 wins, the sixth-most in program history. His .557 winning percentage with the Valiants was also the fourth highest amongst all coaches with a minimum of two years with the team.

Reilly coached the Valiants to their first conference titles since 1999 and brought the Valiants to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2011. During his tenure, the Valiants had 12 student-athletes named to the Skyline All-Conference Team.

Reilly also took the position as head coach of the Manhattanville golf teams in the spring of 2025. The men's team placed 5th in the 2025 Skyline Conference Championship in his lone fall coaching the program.

A national search is now underway to fill the Head Men's Soccer Coach and Head Men's and Women's Golf Coach positions.
