PURCHASE, N.Y. -- The United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC) announced its men's All-Academic Team selections for the 2025-26 campaign on Friday morning. The Manhattanville University men's hockey team had 24 All-Academic selections, tied for the fourth-most honorees among the nine institutions.

The UCHC recognized 215 student-athletes on the men's All-Academic Team for their academic successes in the classroom across the 2025-26 school year.  Eligibility for the All-Academic distinction is open to student-athletes who have completed at least one academic year at their current institution while holding a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 for all terms of the 2025-26 academic year.

Manhattanville tied with St. John Fisher University (24 selections), trailing behind Elmira College and Nazareth University (25 selections each) and Albertus Magnus Unviersity (31 selections) in student-athletes appointed to the team.

16 of the Valiants' recognized student-athletes had been named to UCHC All-Academic Teams the previous year. Additionally, five of Manhattanville's first-time honorees were freshmen earning the recognition in their first seasons of eligibility. 

Seniors Lane Paddison (100 Mile House, Canada/Canmore Eagles (AJHL)), Corey Popowcer (Parkland, Fla./Vermont Lumberjacks (EHL)), and Mitchell Watson (Calgary, Alberta, Canada/Canmore Eagles (AJHL)) completed their undergraduate studies by being named to the All-Academic Team in all four years at Manhattanville. Four of the Valiant appointees—Ryan McKenna (Spokane, Wash./Sheridan Hawks (NA3HL)), Lane Paddison (100 Mile House, Canada/Canmore Eagles (AJHL)), Brandon Paluszak (Powell, Ohio/Gilmour Academy), and Cameron Vassos (Caledon, Ontario/Navan Grads (CCHL))—were among the 30 total student-athletes across the conference to earn a perfect 4.0 throughout the past academic year. Eight other players—Lucas Baksay (Fairfield, Conn./Connecticut Roughriders (EHL)), William Billequey (Montreal, Quebec/Vermont Lumberjacks (EHL)), Zach Choueiri (Montreal, Quebec/Renfrew Wolves (CCHL)), Caden Eaton (Indian River, Mich./Cornwall Colts (CCHL)), Justin Fernet (Sherbrooke, Quebec/Taft School), Johno Hoins (Telluride, Colo./The Frederick Gunn School / Notre Dame Hounds (SJHL)), Ryan McKenna (Spokane, Wash./Sheridan Hawks (NA3HL)), and Cameron Vassos (Caledon, Ontario/Navan Grads (CCHL))—are making their third All-Academic appearances of their careers.

The United Collegiate Hockey Conference provides a competitive environment and structure for NCAA Division III men's and women's ice hockey in the Eastern United States.
