KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Manhattanville University men's and women's soccer teams were honored by United Soccer Coaches over the weekend as recipients of the 2025-2026 College Team Academic Award.

The Valiants were among the 795 total soccer teams (334 men, 461 women) to earn the award this year, with Manhattanville one of the 186 institutions to have both its men's and women's programs recognized.

Teams were honored for posting a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher for the duration of the 2025-2026 academic year.

The Manhattanville women's soccer team earned a 3.32 GPA as a collective, while on the men's side, the Valiants earned a 3.24 team GPA.

Both teams will be making their return to campus next week for preseason to gear up for the start of the 2026 campaign. Both Valiant soccer seasons will open on the road, with the women's team playing at Drew University on Sept. 1 at 6 p.m. while the men travel to The College of New Jersey on the same day, also a 6 p.m. kickoff.
