PURCHASE N.Y. – Following a week with standout performances across Manhattanville Athletics, Keira Guinan (Seaford, N.Y./Seaford) and Tiernan McLaughlin (Yonkers, N.Y./Fordham Prep) have been selected as the Valiants of the Week for the week of Sept. 13.
 
KEIRA GUINAN – FIELD HOCKEY
Field hockey competed three times this week, with Guinan making a strong impact on the offensive end. She totaled three goals and two assists across the week. Guinan highlighted the week with two goals in the Valiants matchup at WestConn and added a goal and an assist against Elms.

Guinan and the Valiants are on the road this evening to face the University of Saint Joseph at 6PM.
 
TIERNAN MCLAUGHLIN – MEN'S SOCCER
Men's soccer competed in the Holiday Inn Express Cardinal Classic over the weekend, winning both matches to remain undefeated on the season. McLaughlin played a key role in the Valiants' weekend success, totaling two goals and one assist across the contests. He recorded an assist in the 3-2 win over SUNY Potsdam before scoring both goals in Manhattanville's 2-1 victory over Plattsburgh State.
 
McLaughlin and his team return to action Sept. 16 as they face Rutgers-Newark at 7pm.
