PURCHASE, N.Y. – Cassidy Fallon (Brewster, N.Y./Brewster) and Jesse James de Ruiter (Hoensbroek, the Netherlands/Eijkhagen Charlemagne College) have been named our Valiants of the Week after making their mark with impressive efforts throughout the week.
 
CASSIDY FALLON – WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL
Fallon was a force at the net in Manhattanville's home opener against Hunter Friday night, recording a career-high nine blocks along with three kills and a .333 hitting percentage. Her defensive efforts helped the Valiants total 11 team blocks as they swept Hunter 3-0 for their first home victory of the season.
 
JESSE JAMES DE RUITER – MEN'S SOCCER
De Ruiter delivered a strong week in the net for the Valiants, posting back-to-back shutouts against Rutgers-Newark and Farmingdale State. He played all 180 minutes across the two contests, allowing zero goals and making three saves, including two in Manhattanville's 1-0 home-opening victory against Farmingdale.
