PURCHASE, N.Y – Following another strong week of action, Jesse James de Ruiter (Hoensbroek, the Netherlands/Eijkhagen Charlemagne College) of the Manhattanville University men's soccer team has been selected as the Skyline Conference Offensive Player of the Week ending Sept. 20.

De Ruiter played all 180 minutes in net across a pair of matches for the Valiants. He opened the week with a clean sheet in saves against Rutgers-Newark on Wednesday. He followed that performance with another shutout on Saturday, making two saves as the Valiants defeated Farmingdale State, 1-0 in their home opener.

De Ruiter and the Valiants look to defend their home turf Wednesday at 4PM against Old Westbury.
