PURCHASE, N.Y. – Manhattanville University women's soccer faced off against the University of Mount Saint Vincent, dropping the Tuesday afternoon game 3-0. The Valiants (3-4, 2-2 Skyline) even out its conference play while the Dolphins (4-3-1, 3-0-1 Skyline) remain untouched in conference play.

 

Gabrielle Billetz (Clarksburg, Mass./Hoosac Valley) had a career high reaching double digits with 10 stops. Deanna Lage (Yorktown Heights, N.Y./Lakeland) and Audrey Fenninger (New City, N.Y./Clarkstown South) led the offensive attack with two shots on goal.

The Dolphins out hustled the Valiants in the first half putting two goals in the back of the net. The first goal went to the top center up and over the defense while the second goal followed suite going to the top right corner. The home team found five opportunities in the first 45, including a penalty shot, but were shut down by UMSV's keeper.

In the second half of play, the Valiants were held to just one shot.
