PURCHASE, N.Y – After an intense opening week into the 2026 season, Caylin Caballero (Eastvale, Calif./Walnut) and Roberto Velasquez-Osorio (Monticello, N.Y./Monticello) are named the Valiants of the week of Sept. 7.

CAYLIN CABALLERO – WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL
Women's volleyball competed four times opening week, where Caballero totaled 47 kills, six service aces, and 31 digs. She was the second leading defender on the team.

Caylin returns to her home court with the team on Sept. 18 at 6PM against Hunter College.
 
ROBERTO VELASQUEZ-OSORIO – MEN'S SOCCER
Men's soccer ended their season-opening week with two draws and one win, Osorio making an assist and scoring two goals across the three matches. Osorio scored the game winning goal against Drew University, on Sept. 6.

Osorio and the Valiants hit the road to face SUNY Potsdam Friday, Sept. 11, kicking off the Holiday Inn Express Cardinal Classic in Plattsburgh, N.Y.
