PURCHASE, N.Y. – Following the opening week of action on the court, Kayla Jennings (Yorktown Heights, N.Y./Lakeland) of the Manhattanville University women's volleyball team has been selected as the Skyline Conference Libero of the Week, for the week ending Sept. 6.

Over a four-match stretch, the senior Jennings tallied 78 digs, eight assists and five aces to begin her campaign. Jennings surpassed 20 digs in three of the matches, highlighted by a week-high of 22 against Union on Friday. She also provided 21 digs in Tuesday's season-opener against Montclair State before tallying another 20 in Saturday's matchup against Salve Regina for the Valiants' first win of the year. Jennings notched a pair of aces in both matches against Montclair State and Salve Regina while also having her week-high of four assists in the triumph over the Seahawks.

Jennings and the Valiants will be off from action until Sept. 18 when Manhattanville hosts Hunter at 6 p.m. for the team's home opener.
