2021-22: Competed in eight meets throughout the indoor and outdoor track season... At the Ramapo Season Opener (1/21), placed seventh out of the field of 23 in the men's 3000 meter with a final time of 9:32.92, also earned a 26^th-place finish in the men's 1 mile, earning a time of 4:46.51 in the field of 43....At the Great Dane Classic (1/28), cut off five seconds from the last meet in the 4x400 with a time of 4:00.11...Represented the Valiants in the 5000-meter, recording a personal best and the program's third-fastest time of 16:14.04 for the Fast Track Last Chance Meet (2/25)...In the West Point Spring Opener (3/18), Somme competed in the 800-meter with a time of 2:14.97 also ran in the 1500 meter, finishing with time of 4:28.57...At the Osprey Invitational (3/26),competed in a pair of distance events, posted a final time of 4:31.37 in the 1500 to place 18th and placed 8^th with his time of 9:32.91...Ran the 5000 meter placing fourth overall in the field of 15 with a time of 16:05.79 at the Omeltchenko Invite (4/3), a new personal best and set a new program benchmark for fastest time in the 5K, knocking close to six seconds off the previous best...At the SCSU Wilton Wright Invite (4/9) placed 11th out of 27 with a time of 16:10.70 in the 5000-meter... At the Skyline Championships (4/24), rewrote the program's top time in the 5000 meter for the second time this season, would place second in the race, crossing the finish in 16:02.26, more than three seconds faster than his record-setting time.

2020-21: At the Greyhound Invitational (4/10), ran the 5,000 meter in a personal-best time of 16:11.69 for sixth place... Competed in the 1500-meter run placing fifth with a time of 4:21.11 at the Skyline Champioships (4/24)...Ran a personal-best 9:29.68 in the 3000-meter run for a third-place finish at the Osprey Twilight Invite (4/30).

2018-20: Did not compete for the Valiants.

High School: A 2018 graduate of Arlington High School … a four-year member of the varsity outdoor track & field program … one-year varsity cross country and indoor track member … placed fourth at the 2018 Northern Counties Championship in the 3200-meter with a time of 10:03 … second place in the 2019 Dutchess County Classic and third place in 2018.

Personal: Son of Michael and Kathryn Somme … has two siblings, Tyler and Julia … pursuing a career in sports journalism and publishing.
