Home to the Valiant baseball program since its inception in the early 1980s, Manhattanville Field continues to provide the Valiant nine with a distinct home-field advantage.
Nestled just beyond GoValiants.com Field and Kennedy Gymnasium, Manhattanville Field measures 405 feet to straight-away center, 320 to right field and 330 to left field.
The field features plenty of bleacher seating down the first-base and third-base lines, as well as a scenic viewing area on a berm above the right-field fence and on the hill along to the third-base line.
The field also boasts a full, state-of-the-art wireless scoreboard just beyond the left-center field wall to provide fans with inning-by-inning scores, batter counts and all necessary in-game information, while spacious dugouts were recently renovated to provide a comfortable home for both the Valiants and their opponents. Other recent additions to the grounds include a permanent wind screen along the outfield fence and protective barriers in front of both teams’ dugouts.
Manhattanville also has the distinct advantage of having its own fenced-in bullpen located along the right-field line, while opponents also utilize a bullpen area located just beyond its dugout on the third-base side as well.
