The Manhattanville College Department of Athletics and Recreation is excited to have spectators attend home athletic events for the remainder of the spring semester.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Manhattanville has developed the policy below to protect the student-athletes, coaches, staff and spectators and to comply with the New York State Department of Health, Westchester County Department of Health and campus protocols at all times.
UPDATE (As of May 5th at 3:15 p.m.): For the upcoming 2021 Skyline Conference Men's and Women's Tennis Championships starting Thursday, May 6, Manhattanville College will be granting admission to TWO VISITING TEAM SPECTATORS PER STUDENT-ATHLETE AND COACHING STAFF (ONLY).
For baseball/softball: At this time, no visiting team spectators will be granted admission to Manhattanville College home contests. Visiting team spectators who attempt to enter Manhattanville home spring outdoor athletic events will be turned away. Each Skyline Conference institution may, if they elect to, allow spectators onto their campus. Please check each institution's website as the spectator policy varies.
All spectators in attendance at any Manhattanville home athletic event this spring ARE REQUIRED:
- To have proper face coverings at all times
- Remain social distance of at least six feet apart
- Expected to sit or stand in family unit and maintain distance between their group and other groups in attendance
Spectators are not permitted in any campus building or to walk campus grounds. Spectators must walk to and from the game only, UNLESS they are accompanied by their host. Tailgating is prohibited and there will be no distribution of any game day materials. Any of these policies that aren't followed are grounds of removal from our facilities. There are NO EXCEPTIONS.
Manhattanville student-athletes and coaching staff (ONLY) will be granted TWO TICKETS for their respective home games and must provide names in advance (24 hours prior to contest) to be placed on a pass list. If a spectator is NOT on the pass list provided by the team, they will NOT be allowed to enter the facility.
Requirements to enter GoValiants.com Field, Manhattanville College Baseball/Softball Fields, Outdoor Tennis Courts:
- All spectators must check-in at the designated location NO EARLIER than 30 minutes prior to game time with valid photo identification
- All non-Manhattanville College family and friends must present proof of completed vaccination (two weeks post-second shot), negative PCR test within 72 hours, negative antigen within 6 hours OR lab-confirmed case of COVID-19 in the last 90 days and must not have any recent or current symptoms
- Upon arrival, all spectators MUST complete a temperature check AND a COVID-19 screening form (via CampusClear App)
- Bracelets will be distributed to all verified attendees and the bracelet MUST be visible at all times
At the completion of the athletic contest, all spectators MUST exit the venue immediately and will not be permitted access to the playing surface.
Again, spectators MUST BE MASKED AT ALL TIMES AND BE FULLY COMPLIANT WITH MANHATANVILLE'S COVID-19 POLICY AND PROTOCOLS. NO EXCEPTIONS.
