Danny Crowe begins his first season as the top assistant baseball coach at Manhattanville College in 2018.
Crowe comes to Manhattanville after a four-year career at Division I Elon University from 2014-17. He served as a two-year team captain as one of the team’s top relievers in his final two seasons, posting a 5-0 record with a 3.98 ERA and 46 strikeouts in 43.0 innings of work over 41 appearances as a junior and senior. As a junior, Crowe led the team with four wins and held opponents to a .208 batting average, ranking eighth in school history in batting average against and seventh in strikeouts per nine innings (10.62).
In addition to his time on the diamond, Crowe has also spent three years with the East Coast Clippers in White Plains, including serving as head of operations in 2016, and served as a baseball instructor at multiple locations both in Westchester and in North Carolina.
A native of Dobbs Ferry, N.Y., Crowe earned a bachelor’s degree in physical education and health from Elon in 2017.
