Natalie Rivas was appointed as the assistant coach of the field hockey team at Manhattanville College in August 2020.
Prior to Manhattanville, Rivas spent three years playing Division III field hockey at Johnson & Wales University in Providence R.I., where she played midfield. She was a member of SAAC during her time at JWU and graduated in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in sports, entertainment and event management.
Rivas comes to Manhattanville with extensive experience off the field as well. She was a student assistant for game day operations at Johnson & Wales and an operations and facilities intern at Brown University in 2019. With the Bears, she assisted with the day-to-day operations of the athletic department and helped with scheduling for the fall season.
A native of Andover, N.J., Rivas currently resides in Purchase, N.Y., while she pursues her master’s in sports business management at Manhattanville.
