Joe Busacca joins the Manhattanville College men’s basketball coaching staff for his first season with the Valiants in 2016-17.
Busacca comes to Manhattanville after serving as an Assistant Coach for the Staten Island Musketeers AAU Program. He graduated from Misericordia University in 2015 where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Sport Management.
Busacca was a four-year member of the Cougar basketball team where he was named a D3 News Honorable Mention All-American, NABC and D3 Hoops first-team All-Region, and Middle Atlantic Conference Player of the Year during his senior year. During his senior season he became the 21st member of the Misericordia 1,000-point club, surpassing the mark with a 14-point performance against FDU-Florham on January 31, 2015.
A native of Staten Island, Busacca currently resides in Purchase where he is pursuing a master’s degree in sport business management.
