2019: Competed in all seven meets during his third season at Manhattanville ... was the Valiants first ever cross country individual champion after he won the Skyline Conference Cross Country Championship on Oct. 31. ... placed first in the Skyline Championship after running the 8K in 28:14.6 ... was named Skyline Runner of the Year and to the All-Skyline First Team after his championship performance ... set a new personal best 8K time of 26:53.1 at the Lehigh Paul Short Run on Oct. 5 ... this time is now the fifth fastest 8K time in program history ... he set another program record at the Bard Invitational (9/21) where he ran the 8K in 27:03.30 ... this is the sixth fastest time in program history ... had three top-10 finishes this season placing first at the Skyline Championship (10/31), third at the St. Joseph's College-Long Island Invitational (10/19) and 10th at the Fred Pavlich Invitational (9/21) ... competed in the NCAA Division III Atlantic Region Cross Country Championship and placed second out of the Valiants and 144th overall with a time of 27:45.7.
2018: Appeared in seven of eight meets in his second season with the Valiants … registered his best 5K time of the season with a 17:47.0 at the CCSU Mini Meet (10/19) … registered is best 8K time the following weekend at the MAC Championships (10/27) with a 30:02.4.
2017: Ran in all eight meets as a freshman… posted team’s seventh-fastest 5K time of the season, running 17:19.10 at the CCSU Mini-Meet (10/20)… posted team’s fifth-fastest 8K time of the season, running 27:35.50 at the NCAA Atlantic Regional Championships (11/11) and team’s 10th-fastest 8K time of the season with a 28:09 performance at the Bard Raptors Invitational (09/23).
High School: A 2017 graduate of Mamaroneck High School … ran three years of track and played two years of soccer for the Tigers.
Personal: Son of Ndeye and Babacar Diop … has three siblings: Khoudia, Aminata and Khadija ... minoring in economics.
