Adam Dauda

Adam Dauda was appointed as the assistant men’s hockey at Manhattanville College in August of 2021.

Born in Bratislava, Slovakia, Dauda moved to Kitchener, Ontario at age seven where he spent most of his life before coming to the United States to attend university. It started at Colgate University when Dauda turned into an absolute force to be reckoned with in the classroom and on the ice hockey rink.

During his sophomore season in 2016-2017, Dauda ranked number one in face-off win percentage for Colgate’s men’s hockey team. Dauda graduated in May 2019 with a Bachelor’s of Arts focusing on Economics while maintaining a 3.3 grade point average.

Dauda’s love for hockey led him to Sydney, Australia, where he spent the summer after his graduation playing for the Sydney Bears, helping the team win the Australian Ice Hockey League Championship. Dauda also split time between Kalamazoo and Jacksonville in the East Coast Hockey League, ranking third on the Jacksonville Ice Men in goals and points as well as ranking first on the team in plus/minus. In a shortened Covid season for the HK Nitra in the Slovak Extraliga, Dauda was impressive through 24 games, netting seven goals and assisting on another seven.

Dauda currently resides in Purchase, N.Y. and intends to get his Masters Degree in Finance at Manhattaville College.
