Biography

2010-11: Served as the team’s only captain as a senior, playing in all 26 games … tied for fifth on the squad with a career-high 13 points, scoring a career-best six and assisting on seven … also led the team with 47 penalty minutes … scored once in the season-opening win over Fredonia State (10/22) … had his first multi-point outing of the year with a goal and an assist at Utica (12/3) … registered a career-high three points on two goals and an assist in a victory over #7 Adrian at the NSB Holiday Tournament (12/31) … named to the ECAC West All-Academic Team.

2009-10: Named an assistant captain in his first season with the Valiants … one of six players to skate in all 27 Valiant games, netting four goals and assisting on eight for 12 points … after making his Valiant debut at Hobart (10/31), recorded one assist in each of his next four games (11/6-21) … netted his first goal in an M’Ville uniform on the power play versus Elmira (12/4) … had another four-game point streak later in the year, beginning with a goal against Cortland (1/8) … scored the game-tying goal with one second left in regulation as the Valiants won the ECAC West Championship in overtime at Elmira (3/6) … named to the ECAC West All-Academic Team.

2008-09 (at Maine): Appeared in 32 games as a sophomore for the Black Bears … tied for ninth on the team with four goals and added five assists for nine points … had a goal and two assists in 23 Hockey East contests … scored the game-winning goal in a 2-0 win over Alaska-Fairbanks (10/18) … recorded his first career multi-point game with a goal and an assist in a win over Union (12/13), then had a two-point night the next time out versus Colgate (12/27).

2007-08 (at Maine): Took the ice in 23 games for Maine as a freshman … scored once and added an assist for two points … scored his first collegiate goal in a 4-2 win over Rensselaer (1/6) … also recorded an assist the next time out against Boston University (1/12) … named to the Hockey East Academic Honor Roll.

Juniors: Played four seasons with the Opaskwayak Cree Nation (OCN) Blizzard … in his final season of 2006-07, ranked second on the team with 101 points in 63 games, netting 37 goals and adding 64 assists … named to the MJHL All-Star second team and earned the “Human Wrecking Ball” Award … posted 25 goals and 32 assists in 74 games during the 2005-06 season … also posted a line of 15-19--34 in 57 regular-season contests in 2004-05.

Personal: Born April 14, 1986 … son of Annette and Brian Randall … has four sisters: Jenne, Alicia, Sussanne and Rianna … a business major at Manhattanville … also is a member of the Valiant men’s golf team and earned Freedom Conference Newcomer of the Year honors in 2010.
