Kevin Davis was appointed assistant coach of the men’s soccer team at Manhattanville College in August 2020.
Prior to Manhattanville, he graduated from Wheaton College in 2017 with a bachelor’s of arts degree in economics. At Wheaton, Davis was a four-year starter for the men’s soccer program. He played and started in 84 matches throughout his career. Davis led his team as a senior captain in 2016 and finished his career as a 3x All-NEWMAC and 3x All-Region selection.
After graduating from Wheaton, Davis played for two-years in the National Semi-Professional League for Kingston Stockade FC as well as coaching at multiple clubs and colleges simultaneously.
Most recently, he has been working with the New York Soccer Club coaching and developing individual players by executing proper training methods to reach their fullest player and character potential.
During the 2017 and 2018 seasons, Davis was the assistant men’s soccer coach at Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh, N.Y. During both seasons he coached the team to two Skyline Conference Championship titles and NCAA tournament appearances. Davis assisted the program in practice planning, recruiting as well as analyzing player and game film.
A native of Beacon, N.Y., he is currently residing in Purchase N.Y., pursuing his master’s in sports business at Manhattanville.
