Marcio Pereira de Souza finished his second season as an assistant coach with the Manhattanville men’s soccer team in 2015.
Souza joins the Valiants following his graduation from Newman University in May of this year, where he graduated, magna cum laude, with his bachelor's degree in business administration.
Souza recorded six goals and an assist in 32 appearances for Division II Newman University. Souza was recognized for his performance both on and off the field when he received the President’s Honor Roll by Heartland Conference (NCAA Division II – Athletic & Academic Excellence) in 2012-2013.
He currently resides in Hartsdale, N.Y. and is earning his master's in sport business management while at Manhattanville.
