Omar Ezzeldin was appointed as the assistant coach of the Manhattanville College men’s and women’s tennis teams starting August 2023.
Prior to finding his way to Manhattanville, Ezzeldin was a member of the men’s tennis team at the University of Saint Mary in Kansas City, M.O. while working as an admissions graduate assistant.
Ezzeldin joins the Valiant staff with a wealth of tennis knowledge and coaching experience. He started his career as an assistant coach for the Wadi Degla Maadi Club, which was ranked #2 in Egyptian tennis leagues. He was also working as a private coach in Cairo. He then transitioned to working as a travelling coach with junior players where he has been to Zimbabwe, Mozambique, and across the United States. He then worked as an assistant coach at ElSawy Tennis Centre in Tampa, Fla. And then at Advantage Tennis Academy in Irvine, Calif.
He then headed back to Egypt where he was the assistant coach at the Cairo American College varsity team which won first place overall for both men’s and women’s in the International Schools Athletic Association. He then worked as a professional tennis coach at the Mouratoglou Tennis Academy in Nice, France which is the numer one tennis academy in the world. He would then be promoted to the Head of Camps for the Mouratoglou Tennis Academy in Malaysia.
Ezzeldin is the Founder and CEO of Acelytics, a tennis analytics company using artificial intelligence. He is also a GPTCA Certified International Professional Tennis Coach with a level B and C certification.
Ezzeldin is a 2022 graduate of Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt, earning a Bachelor’s in Mechatronics Engineering. He is now pursuing his Master of Science in Finance at Manhattanville College. He currently resides in Purchase, N.Y.
