Biography
2009-10: Joined the Valiants late during the indoor track season, competing in three events … became the first Valiant male to take part in a field event at the BU Valentine Invitational (2/13) … tossed the shot put 30’7” to set a new personal best at the USATF New England Regionals (2/21) … also appeared at four outdoor meets … made his debut in the discus toss at the Dick Shea Open (4/3) … his best discuss throw of the season came at the Elmer Swanson Invitational (4/10), recording a top distance of 90’1” … posted his best shot put finish in his final attempt of the year at the Vassar Open (4/30), grabbing sixth place with a result of 30”4’.
High School: A 2008 graduate of Mount Vernon High School … was a member of the Knights’ track & field team in 2007 and 2008 and also played two years on the football squad … named to the All-League team in 2008 … a National Honor Society member and high honor roll student …
Personal: Born December 11, 1990 … son of Yvonne and Alvin Roswell … born in Trelawny, Jamaica but currently resides in the U.S. … has five siblings and two half-siblings … plans to major in management at Manhattanville.
