Biography
2013-14: Joined the team early in the outdoor season, appearing at three meets … set a new school record and earned All-MAC first-team honors with a top length of 52.39 meters in the javelin to place second at the MAC Outdoor Championships (5/3) … also set a new school mark in the long jump at MACs, leaping 5.96 meters to place 11th overall.
2010-13: Did not participate with the Valiant track team during his first three years at Manhattanville.
High School: A 2010 graduate of Pleasantville High School … a four-year letterwinner on the basketball court and also lettered in football and baseball for the Panthers … named the school’s Male Athlete of the Year in 2010 … named All-League, All-Section and All-New York State as a senior … also earned All-League honors as a junior in 2009 … helped his team to a 2010 League championship and runner-up finishes at the sectional tournament in both 2009 and 2010 … also was an All-State, All-Section and All-League performer on the gridiron and on the diamond in his senior year as well.
Personal: Born August 17, 1992 … son of Jim and Mary Bramswig … his father, Jim, played basketball at Saint Thomas Aquinas … has three siblings: Maggie, Michael and Danny … an education and history double major at Manhattanville who also serves as president of the History Club … also is an All-Conference performer and 1,000-point scorer on the Valiant men's basketball team.
