2022-23: Competed in all 14 meets through the indoor and outdoor track & field season… Started the season at the Elm City Challenge (12/2-12/3), rain in the 55-meter, 200-meter, 600-meter, and 4x400 relay… Had a personal best breaking the program record in the 600-meter dash, finishing with a time of 1:32.09 at the Ramapo Indoor Season Opener (1/20)… At the BU Terrier Classic (1/27), posted a time of 54.62 in the 400-meter dash… At the Riverhawk Invitational (1/28), logged a time of 24.35 in the 200-meter dash… Ran in the 60-meter unseeded and 400-meter dash at the NYU Invitational (2/3)… At the Big Apple Invitational (2/11), participated in the 200-meter and 4x400 relay… Ran in the 60-meter and 400-meter at the West Point Tune-Up (2/18)…At the Stockton Invite (3/25), competed in the 100-meter dash and 4x100 relay… At the Ramapo Outdoor Season Opener (3/31), competed in the 400-meter and 4x100 relay… Ran in the prelims for the 100-meter dash clocking in at 12.45 with a 5000-meter dash appearance at the USMMA Invite (4/2)… At the Osprey Open and Multi (4/7-4/8), ran in the 100-meter, 200-meter, and 4x100 relay… At the Larry Ellis Invitational (4/15), logged a 46.23 time in the 4x100 relay… Competed in the Skyline Championships (4/23) with a second-place finish in the 4x100 relay and third place finish in the 4x400 relay, also ran the 100-meter and 200-meter dash … Closed out the season at the ECAC Championships (5/12), competing in the 100-meter and 200-meter dash.

2021-22: Competed in eight meets throughout the indoor and outdoor track season... Ran the men's 600 meter at the Ramapo Season Opener (1/21), earning a final time of 1:43.28 and made up the foursome for the 4X400 relay, placing 12^th with a 4:05.63 finish....At the Great Dane Classic (1/28), competed in the 60-meter finishing with a time of 56.96, while cutting off five seconds from the last meet in the 4x400 with a time of 4:00.11...Ran the 200-meter with a time of 25.29 and the 500-meter at 1:14.79 for the Fast Track Last Chance Meet (2/25), and the 4x400 posted a time of 3:55.21, four seconds faster than the team's previous season-best and placing fifth...In the West Point Spring Opener (3/18), Ascencio ran in the 200-meter finishing at 24.79...At the Osprey Invitational (3/26), finished the 4x100 with a time of 47.55, while he placed 26th in the 200-meter at 24.93 amd placed 11^th in the 400-meter with his time of 54.54...Had a season-best finish in the 4x400 with a time of 3:54.08 at the Omeltchenko Invite (4/3), while earning 5th in the 400-meter dash with a time of 55.68...Debuted in the 100-meter at the SCSU Wilton Wright Invite (4/9) with a time of 11.95, also ran in the 200-meter finishing at 24.47, while placing sixth in the 4x100 with a time of 48.20... At the Skyline Championships (4/24), placed second in the 4x100 with a time of 46.80 and finished the 4x400 at 3:51.85. 

2020-21: Took fourth place in the 400-meter dash with a time of 59.73 at the Skyline Championships (4/25)...Competed in the 1500-meter run with a time of 5:04.60 at the Osprey Twilight Invite (4/30). 

2019-20: Competed in three meets during his first season on the indoor track team ... ran the one mile once at the Spartan Invite (1/10) and finished in 5:26.00 ... competed in the 1,000-meter at the Monmouth University Winter Invitational (2/14) with a time of 3:02.92 ... ran his final race of the season at the Armory Last Chance Invite (2/21) in the 800-meter and finished with a time of 2:17.41 ... did not compete in the outdoor track and field season due to it being canceled from COVID-19. 

High School: A 2019 graduate of Salesian High School … two-year varsity cross country and track & field team member … two-time cross country MVP … also a track and field MVP as a junior … Honor Roll … student council member.

Personal: Son of Lourdes Ascencio … has three siblings, Eson, Tyler and Ethan … pursuing a career as a sports agent.
