2011-12: Did not run track during the indoor or outdoor season as a senior.

2010-11: Participated in five meets during the indoor season and seven outdoors … indoors, ran primarily the 800 and the mile … his best 800 time came at MIT (1/29), finishing in 2:29.53 … the best mile time of his career was a 5:19.51 finish at the BU Valentine Invitational (2/12) … mostly concentrated in the 1,500 during the outdoor season … his best 1,500 time came at the Elmer Swanson Invitational (4/9), crossing the line in 4:56.44 … named to the MAC Winter and Spring Academic Honor Rolls.

2009-10: Ran in five meets during the indoor season … set a season best in the 800 at the Wheaton Invitational (1/23) by crossing the line in 2:26.91 … also posted a best time of 3:09.47 in the 1,000 at the Tufts Invitational (2/6) … outdoors, primarily ran the 800 and 1,500 for the Valiants, appearing in six of seven meets … best 1,500 time came in his final meet of the year, clocking in at 4:46.44 at the Vassar Open (4/30) … finished the 800 in a season-best 2:27.54 at the Dick Shea Open (4/3).

2008-09: Ran seven races during the indoor season, including a season-high three races in the 800 … posted a season-best 800 time of 2:21.36 at the BU Valentine Invitational (2/14) … qualified for the Middle Atlantic Conference Championships (2/28) in the mile run, finishing in a season-best time of 5:22.58 … made four appearances during the outdoor season, four times running in the 1500 … posted a season-best time of 4:45.11 at the year-end Yale Springtime Invitational (4/25).

High School: A 2008 graduate of Briarcliff High School … was a three-year letterwinner on the cross country team, while also lettering in track and baseball for the Bears … reached the Sectional Championships in cross country … was an honor roll student.

Personal: Born May 24, 1990 … son of Paul and Lydia Heck … has one sister, Alexis, and one brother, Jonathan … is an education and Spanish double major at Manhattanville.
