Following a highly decorated career as a member of the Valiants, Spencer Shore continued her stay at Manhattanville as assistant coach of the women's basketball starting in August 2022.
Shore played four seasons on the hardwood inside Kennedy Gymnasium for the Manhattanville women's basketball team from 2017 to 2022. Across the four seasons, Shore played in 103 games, scoring 894 total points. A proven leader both on and off the court, Shore was selected as Manhattanville's Dante Paccica Sportsmanship Award winner for the 2019-20 academic year. The guard was recognized on conference Academic Honor Rolls four times, twice on the MAC Winter Academic Honor Roll and another two appointments to the Skyline Winter/Spring Academic Honor Roll. Shore was also a one-time All-Conference selection, being named to the Skyline Conference Second Team following her 2021-22 campaign.
One of the best deep-ball threats in program history, Shore hit 195 three pointers as a member of the Valiants, shooting .341 from beyond the arc. Shore's .364 clip from deep in the 2019-20 season ranks seventh all-time in program history, while her .351 shooting percentage from deep as a rookie in the 2017-18 campaign ranks tenth. After hitting 59 three pointer in the 2019-20 season to tie for the second-most in a single-season, Shore broke the program record with her 66 threes in the 2021-22 season. She also holds the program record for career threes with 195.
Shore is a native of Boca Raton, Florida, and currently resisdes in Purchase.
